It looks like I might have neglected my blog lately, as I released 6 new patterns (!!!) since the last time I talked about my work. I’m not going to talk about them all today, because once again, I’m in quite a rush, so I’ll just talk about my latest knitting pattern, Lionheart Shawl, that I love so so much.
Lionheart Shawl is a simple top-down triangular shawl covered in a variety of stitch patterns that will keep you entertained on every single row. Bobbles, Fair Isle and lace knitting are mixed together in a graceful way on this 3-colors, adaptable shawl. It is meant to be knit with fingering to DK weight yarn, and the main sections can be repeated as many times as desired, to be sure that you’ll get the exact shawl size you want.
The lovely yarn I used for this shawl is The Yarn Collective Bloomsbury DK. It’s been provided by Loveknitting.com. They are pretty amazing when it comes to helping independent designers, and they also are one of my favorite stores when I badly need to buy yarn ❤️ You can read my review of the yarn right here (disclaimer: I really really love it!)
I also wrote a tutorial to learn how to make tassels. They are fun to create and are a great way to add nice embellishment to your shawls!
By the way, the rush right now isn’t so much about work or knitting or my crazy work-at-home-mom life, but about the fact that I’ll be giving birth to a bran new baby boy in a week or two!!! This pregnancy flew by so fast!!! I just wrote a full blog post about him and what’s to come for me as a mom and as a knitting pattern designer in the next few months, so make sure to go read it if you’re interested!
