Yesterday night during my birthday party, my husband came to me to bring me outside. He showed my the lovely snow that was falling on our backyard. He knows how much I love snow. I like to think of those early snowflakes as a birthday gift from the nature. Christmas will be here soon. Well maybe not that soon… but I enjoyed a big sale on Christmas trees last week at Michael’s. And I made some needle felted ornaments. And I knit a pair of mittens, a hat and a cowl. And I started a list of gifts for my special ones.
I plan to knit a second Plumage scarf for someone (but I won’t tell who it is!) This design is very much loved on the Ravelry communauty! I’m so proud and touched to have such a positive response. This pattern seduced, amongst others, a very kind lady who lives in Australia with peacocks. We’ve been chatting lately and I gave her a little help with the pattern. She’s so enthusiastic she promised to name one of her peacock chicks after me. It’s so touching I blush when I think of it! I find it wonderful to get in touch with so many charming people and especially with those that I could never meet otherwise.
And to give a second honor to the pattern and to let the buyers get it through their favorite website, I added the pattern to my little Craftsy store. There are only three of my patterns available at the moment but the others will be added soon.
If you’d like to knit it for a special someone too (or for your special self), you can get it easily by clicking on the pretty “craftlet”. And please get in touch with me if you knit it! I would LOVE to see your creations!
