A lot of Québec workers got back to work today. As for me, I still have one more week of vacation. I’ve been working for the last 6 years without having a single complete week for myself, so I guess this is not a luxury. I had great expectations for this week: I imagined myself wearing pajamas, watching TV and playing Zelda on the Wii during a whole week. Turns out I don’t feel like being in vacation. I feel like using this free time to complete a maximum of projets. I therefore decided to rename this week “Week of the projects I’ve never get time to do”. On the list: cleaning the computer, making backups of my many many photos, learning how to use Aperture, finalizing some patterns and having them tested on Ravelry, translate my already published patterns in French, cleaning the house, knitting a hat and a scarf, and dying some yarn. I also have four social activities on my agenda, and I’ve got to go to the grocery store… I should have 2 more weeks of vacations!
I made some errands and I started my backups today, and to give a great start to the week I dyed my first skein of yarn! I’m officially in love with this activity! As if I hadn’t enough hobbies…
Thanks to my husband who gave me a dye starting kit for Christmas!
