Description
The roads of Corsica are long and winding. While traveling these roads, your eyes are filled with the amazing view of the numerous mountains and the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Roads of Corsica is a shawl inspired by these three elements: a long reversible cable travels like a road along the side of the shawl while garter stitch and a mesh pattern alternates on its body, reminding the mountains and the waves of the sea. The resulting shawl is a reversible, asymmetrical triangle worked in bias, and it is sure to impress, both by the simplicity of the knitting and the gorgeousness of the finished shawl. Two sizes are provided, the smaller size is meant to be made with one skein of fingering weight yarn and the larger size will use two skeins. An alternate final section is also provided for more yardage flexibility. This option will create a longer mesh border.
