That’s why I created this website. I want to contribute to your happiness in a world that is hard to keep up with, often tough, sometimes cruel. I want to help people, in my own way, to be happier. Since knitting is a great source of joy and moments of peace for me, I want to share my knowledge.

It’s also in this spirit that I created an (almost) ad-free website and used my skills in web development and design (my other career!) to offer you a pleasant space to visit, and where you’ll want to come back.

  • My temperature snake hasn’t grown as much as it should, it’s still stuck somewhere in May… I dedicate a few hours to it every now and then, and I track the daily temps like it’s my job. Every day I get excited: “ooooh it’ll be dark pink today!” “ooooh that day was way colder than the one before!” “ooooh it rained so much the downstairs bathroom flooded a bit... that totally means I can add the rain yarn!” It makes the weather feel very exciting… even if I’m not all that consistent with the knitting part. I’m definitely looking forward to the kids being back in school so I can catch up on my snake (while also sobbing because I miss them… nothing is perfect!) . Mon serpent mĂ©tĂ©o n’est pas tout Ă  fait aussi grand qu'il devrait l'ĂŞtre. Il est encore coincĂ© quelque part au mois de mai… Je lui consacre quelques heures de temps en temps, et je note les tempĂ©ratures chaque jour comme si c’était ma job. Chaque jour, j'ai une pensĂ©e pour la tempĂ©rature : « ooooh ce sera rose foncĂ© aujourd’hui ! » « ooooh ce jour-lĂ  Ă©tait bien plus froid que le prĂ©cĂ©dent ! » « ooooh il a tellement plu que notre salle de bain du sous-sol a Ă©tĂ© un peu inondĂ©e. GĂ©nial ! Je vais pouvoir ajouter la laine de “pluie” pour cette journĂ©e ! » Ça rend la mĂ©tĂ©o beaucoup plus palpitante… mĂŞme si je ne suis pas très assidue cĂ´tĂ© tricot. My temperature snake hasn’t grown as much as it should, it’s still stuck somewhere in May… I dedicate a few hours to it every now and then, and I track the daily temps like it’s my job. Every day I get excited: “ooooh it’ll be dark pink today!” “ooooh that day was way colder than the one before!” “ooooh it rained so much the downstairs bathroom flooded a bit... that totally means I can add the rain yarn!” It makes the weather feel very exciting… even if I’m not all that consistent with the knitting part. I’m definitely looking forward to the kids being back in school so I can catch up on my snake (while also sobbing because I miss them… nothing is perfect!) . Mon serpent météo n’est pas tout à fait aussi grand qu'il devrait l'être. Il est encore coincé quelque part au mois de mai… Je lui consacre quelques heures de temps en temps, et je note les températures chaque jour comme si c’était ma job. Chaque jour, j'ai une pensée pour la température : « ooooh ce sera rose foncé aujourd’hui ! » « ooooh ce jour-là était bien plus froid que le précédent ! » « ooooh il a tellement plu que notre salle de bain du sous-sol a été un peu inondée. Génial ! Je vais pouvoir ajouter la laine de “pluie” pour cette journée ! » Ça rend la météo beaucoup plus palpitante… même si je ne suis pas très assidue côté tricot.
