Is it fall yet? It sure doesn’t feel like it now, but we see it coming, right? Red leaves, Halloween, and the best of all, sweater season! Now is the time to get ready! Lineage Sweater, the knitting pattern I’m releasing today, might just be what you’ll want to wear in a couple of weeks…
Lineage Sweater
The little balls of yarn left after a knitting project are little pieces of our knitting journeys which fill our hearts with dreams, our heads with mindfulness, and our bodies with warmth. These little leftover balls, too small to become their own projects, but too pretty to be thrown away, receive a new purpose with this knitting pattern. Lineage Sweater is the descendant of all your previous knitting projects. It’s a raglan sweater worked in the round, seamlessly, from the top down. It can be made using only leftover yarns, or with mini skeins, or even with full skeins. It’s a fun sweater to knit and the result can be as colorful as you desire, as you can use any number of colors, from 2 to 1000!

I’m totally missing out but I’m not going to Rhinebeck festival. I’m staying home, momming. It’s my favorite activity, I must say, so I’m not sad at all, but I could take a little trip right now, especially to a fun festival full of enthusiastic yarn lovers. If I was going, this would be my Rhinebeck sweater for sure! Maybe next year… but I’ll need a new sweater then, so I’ll keep this one for my very own yarn festival (which is, reordering my yarn stash).
Oh and talking about momming… Stay tune if you feel like knitting a mini version of this sweater! The baby and kid version is coming soon! Miss Ă already has hers and the pattern is almost ready!
