Lily’s Valley Shawl has long valleys of stockinette stitch – perfect for a variegated yarn! – small ridges of garter stitch and little bubbly mountains made in a contrasting color. Its border is a meadow where lilies of the valley grow freely. This triangular shawl is worked from the top down and is adaptable in size, as both the body and border can be made longer or shorter. While it can be made with only one color, it’s a great project to use up a lovely variegated skein paired with an assorted tonal color.
