The Aureum Sweater is characterized by the pretty leaves growing on the bottom of the sweater, worked in stranded colorwork. Otherwise, this design has very simple features: drop shoulders, a straight body and comfortable sleeves. It is worked from the top-down, knitted flat on the top part and in the round on the body and sleeves. It is available in 11 sizes from 33.25 inches to 66.75 inches at bust, and should be worn with some positive ease for a comfy and flattering fit.

Gauge
24 sts x 34 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stockinette stitch and stranded colorwork, after blocking.
If needed, use a larger needle size to achieve the same gauge in stranded colorwork.
About the prototype
Prototype is a size 2 worn with approx. 4” (10 cm) of ease.
Difficulty level: advanced beginner
A simple construction and a no-fuss pattern, paired with an easy colorwork section, worked in the round with two colors, with little to no trapping floats required.
